Kuuskajaskari fortress island (Kuuskajaskari, Rauma)
Kuuskajaskari is a forest-covered tourist island with an area of more than 20 hectares in the inner part of the Rauma archipelago. You can access the former island fortress of the defence forces by regular water bus service, or your own boat. There are some thirty berths. Services for boaters include showers and laundry facilities. When a regular water bus service is being run, the island also offers accommodation, meeting, banquet and catering services, as well as guided tours and an open-air theatre. You can also hike independently in Kuuskajaskari, on a trail introducing the island’s geology.
