Kuuskajaskari trail and stone workshop (Kuuskajaskari, Rauma)

An exhibition on the geology of the island is located in the building in the foreground. This building was completed in the summer of 1941 as a service club. The service club operated in the building until 1968, when the new multi-purpose barracks were completed. Until the mid-1960s, the building was also used by an archipelago school and the officers’ club and included rooms for the service club’s employees. During the fortress’ final years, it served as a bicycle repair shop and storehouse, for example.
