The old barracks of Kuuskajaskari (Kuuskajaskari, Rauma)

The old barracks building in the foreground was completed in 1941. It served its original purpose until the late 1960s, when the new barracks building was completed. In the 1980s, the old barracks were renovated into an equipment storehouse, and in the early 2000s into a leisure centre for summer use. A new entrance with a canopy was added to the eastern end and the western end was equipped with new windows and a canopy over the door. In 2009, the building was refurbished into a café and a new kitchen and sales premises were added.
