Reksaari

Reksaari is one of the better-known hiking destinations in the norhern archipelago of Rauma. The wildlife including some rare species, offes an incredible setting. Rauma's oldest tourism island, with its groves and nature paths, gives oppurtunity to become familiar with the many-sided vegetation and birdlife of the archipelago.

Kuuskajaskari

Kuuskajaskari is an island of 26,5 hectares, in Rauma archipelago. The island is hotme to the former coastal artillery fortress. Several buildings and four artillery sites with their trenches still exist to tell the story of the times of the defence forces. Apart from the shooting ranges and artillery, visitors to thefortified island are also interested in the island's wildlife. The island offers the visitor dirrerent experiences, such as its geology path.

The lighthouse island of Kylmäpihlaja

The lighthouse island of Kylmäpihlaja is the outermost islet on the edge of Rauma sea, about ten kilometers off the mainland. Kylmäpihlaja lighthouse building has accommodation and a café, with conference facilities on the upper floor.

Cultural path on the island of Kaunissaari

Kaunissaari , a 33-hectare island in the Eurajoki river delta, was the home of Antti Ahlström's steam sawmill from 1874 - 1923. Today, Kaunissaari is open all year round anf is a site of historic value and interesting from a nature point of view, where guided tours and boat trips can be arranged for groups. You can also get to the island easily with your own boat.

Laitakari leisure area

Laitakari leisure area, situated in Luvia, is a pleasant place for relaxation. At Luvia Merihelmi ("a pearl of the sea"), you can enjoy a swim, sauna and have refreshments at the café. the nearby restaurant of Laitakarin Messi ("ship's mess") is worth a visit. Laitakari leisure area also has a guest harbour and a dance hall that's open in the summer months. While at Laitakari, be sure to look in on the building of the traditional ship, galleass "Ihana".

Yyteri leisure area

Yyteri leisure area offers countless free-time opportunities along its six-kilometre sandy beach. Among them are fitness tracks, sports areas, a water chute, a beach volley court, frisbee golf and a surfing centre. You can go horseriding or have a round of golf. For birdwatchers the river delta area offers unique opportunities for spotting the rich assortment of birdlife.

Reposaari

Reposaari enjoys a long history, and you can still sense the atmosphere of the age of the sailing ship on the island. In the summer the island is a display of exotic plant life brought here as ballast. Also worth a visit are, for example, the restored coastal fortifications from  wordl war II, the Norwegian-style wooden church and the wind park.

The archipelago of Oura

Off the coast of Merikarvia, the Oura archipelago is barren but fashinating seascape at its best. The pilot station operated at the islet of Ouraluoto from 1851 - 1968, and today the island is apopular leisure and tourist area. Hamskeri, the largest island in the Oura archipelago, has for many years been developed for tourism. There's nature path and you can even spend the night in one of the lean-to huts along the way.
